Welcome to the Well Correlation Tool! Here's how to use this tool:

  1. Load Formation Tops: Click on the "Load Formation Tops" button to upload a file containing formation top data. Supported formats: CSV, Excel (XLSX/XLS), ASCII, or TXT.
  2. Load LAS Files: Click on the "Load LAS Files" button to upload one or more LAS files containing well log data.
  3. View Correlation: Once the files are loaded, the tool will display the well correlation plot.
  4. Export Plot Images: Click the "Export Plot Images" button to download a single image containing all well plots.

Formation Tops File Format

The formation tops file should have the following format (regardless of file type):

Well,Formation,Depth
Well1,FormationA,1000
Well1,FormationB,1500
Well2,FormationA,1050
Well2,FormationB,1550
            

- The first row should contain the column headers: Well, Formation, and Depth.

- Each subsequent row represents a formation top for a specific well.

- The Well column should contain the well name or identifier.

- The Formation column should contain the name of the formation.

- The Depth column should contain the depth of the formation top in the same units as your well logs.
